On the afternoon of Monday 24 October, Dr. Edgardo Riveros presented his paper on the crisis of multilateralism. The prestigious expert in international law made a diagnosis of this crisis and proposed the necessary measures to strengthen the multilateral spirit in international relations and in the genesis and application of international law. Along with general lines of action, Dr. Riveros also pointed out more specific measures, such as the advisability of progressively eliminating the asymmetries presented by the model, for example, in the functioning of the United Nations Security Council. The presentation was followed by a rich debate and the adoption of a resolution on the subject, which will be definitively approved and published shortly.
