DECLARATION OF CONDEMNATION
The Presidency, the General Secretariat and the Board of Directors of the INSTITUTO HISPANO LUSO AMERICANO Y FILIPINO DE DERECHO INTERNACIONAL (IHLADI) condemn the military invasion of Ukraine and the aggression against that State and its population by the Army of the Russian Federation with the support of the Republic of Belarus. Such acts constitute a flagrant violation of the Charter of the United Nations and a violation of the fundamental principles of international law and rules of jus cogens prohibiting the use of force, interference in internal affairs, violation of territorial sovereignty and requering respect for human rights and humanitarian international law. The Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus have consequently incurred serious international responsibilities, which also affect the leaders involved in such acts and in the international crimes deriving from them.
While expressing its solidarity with the Government and people of Ukraine, the IHLADI urges the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus to put an end to the aggression, to withdraw their armed forces until they completely leave the entire territory of the Republic of Ukraine and to cease their threats to the International Community.
