On August 10, 2018, the Inter-American Juridical Committee elected Dr. Luis García-Corrochano Moyano, member of the IHLADI and president of the IHLADI from 2016 to 2018, as the new vice-president, replacing Dr. Joel Hernández. Dr. Ruth Stella Correa Palacio (Colombia) was elected as the new president.
